The Details
Good to know
Do I need to book online?
Booking online is the quickest way in, and you can head straight to the gate with your ticket on your phone. You can also buy your ticket at the entrance on the day.
What ID do you accept for concession pricing?
Valid student and senior or pensioner ID can be either Australian or international. Please bring it with you, as it may be checked at the gate. Students aged 14 to 17 do not need ID.
What ages count as a child?
Children are 3 to 13 years, and the same ages apply to the children included in a Family or Mini Family pass.
Do tours and encounters include entry?
No. Experiences and encounters do not include sanctuary entry, so a day pass is required per person. Yearly Pass holders can skip the day pass.
The Platinum Tour, Junior Keeper and Teen Keeper programs are the exceptions, as those include entry.
Can I upgrade my day pass to a Yearly Pass?
Yes. Visit the front gate within 31 days of your original visit with your day ticket receipt, and our team will deduct the cost of your day ticket from the Yearly Pass price. Available at the gate only.
How long should I allow for a visit?
Most people spend three to four hours here, which is enough to catch a few shows, feed the kangaroos and take your time. We are open 9:00am to 5:00pm daily, with last entry at 4:00pm.
