We are open on public holidays and do not impose a surcharge.

What happens if it’s raining, is the sanctuary still open?

Yes, we are an all-weather sanctuary, with plenty of undercover areas to allow for wet weather.

Yes, children under 3 can absolutely visit the sanctuary, free of charge.

What hours are the cafes in the sanctuary open from?

We have two cafes, Riverside Café that is located just before the entrance into the sanctuary and is open 7:30am – 4pm daily and Sleepy Koala Café, that is located inside the main sanctuary grounds and is open 9am-2pm Monday to Sunday (*Sleepy Koala Café kitchen closes at 2pm. A selection of cold sandwiches and hot and cold drinks are available until 3pm).

Are there any benefits of booking my tickets online, rather than when I arrive at the park?

Yes, by booking online you’ll save yourself time when you arrive by accessing the sanctuary via the ‘Pre-Purchased’ ticket queue. You can also pre-book your experiences, to ensure that you don’t miss out on the day.

If I want to book an experience, do I have to pre-book, or can I book it when I arrive at the park?

To avoid disappointment, it’s definitely best to pre-book online, as our experiences have limited availability and do sell-out fast.
