Vacation Care Groups

It’s never too early to plan your school holiday excursion to Lone Pine. Lead your own self-guided day, or experience Australian wildlife through a ‘vacation care only’ Discovery Package.

Exclusive vacation care packages include a 30-minute wildlife presentation, a bag of free-range animal food for each child to feed the kangaroos and wallabies, and access to our vacation care treasure hunt with a prize to collect upon completion.

Lone Pine is open and accepting booking requests in line with our approved Industry COVID Safe Plan. Due to the ever-changing situation surrounding COVID-19, all bookings remain tentative and are subject to change depending on government regulations.

With over 70 species of Australian native animals and barn yard friends to discover, Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is the perfect place to connect your students with wildlife and develop their appreciation for the natural world.
Choose from a self-guided day, or upgrade to a Discovery Session package and make your visit even more special with a presentation led by our team of experienced Education Officers.

Discovery Session Packages Include:

One 30-minute animal presentation per 50 students meeting up to 4 animals with Education Officer.
1 bag of free-range animal food per student to feed our kangaroos, wallabies and emus.
Access to Vacation Care Treasure Hunt document with prize available for collection upon completion (1 prize per student).

We also offer custom Discovery Sessions for students with special needs and English language learners, and are able to tailor custom sessions to meet your group’s specific requirements.

Our Education Team is always happy to help! Contact us at education@koala.net if you have any questions.
