Found along the eastern coast of Australia, swamp wallabies prefer to live in thick forest undergrowth, woodlands, and swampy areas. Their dark brown fur helps them to camouflage in their shadowy habitat. Swamp wallabies are herbivores, feeding on plants such as ferns, leaves, shrubs and grasses.
