Sanctuary Sprouts
Nurture your child’s curiosity about the natural world with Sanctuary Sprouts, a special 45-minute experience crafted for young adventurers aged 3-5 and their grown-ups. Designed around nature play, Sanctuary Sprouts combines hands-on learning with storytelling, movement, and play, creating a safe and engaging space where children can bond with wildlife and the wonders of nature.
Here's what's included:
★ Meet a special animal up close, fostering empathy and wonder
★ Nature-based learning through open-ended exploration
★ Engaging stories, movement, and craft activities
★ Developmental support for sensory awareness and coordination
★ Encourages observation, problem-solving, and creativity
Join us to discover, play, and grow alongside your child as they begin their journey into the natural world!
Please note we ask that sprouts are accompanied by one parent/adult only and siblings are not recommended.

Embark on a hands-on wildlife care and conservation adventure with our Junior Keeper for a Day program at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. This immersive experience lets kids aged 5-12 years step into the world of a wildlife keeper, where they’ll work alongside our dedicated team, caring for and learning about Australia’s unique animals.
Junior Joeys: 5-8 Years Old
Senior Serpents: 9-12 Years Old
Here's what's included:
★ Help care for over 100 kangaroos in the Free-Range Kangaroo Reserve
★ Hands-on encounters with our friendly barnyard animals
★ Meet fascinating reptiles up close
★ Design enrichment treats for our animals
★ Shadow a zoo keeper behind the scenes
★ Watch a private raptor training session
★ Explore the Platypus House and help prepare a morning snack
★ Special koala encounter with a photo to take home
★ And more surprises await!

★ Clean and maintain animal exhibits
★ Observe and participate in animal training sessions
★ Prepare food and enrichment items, with animal feeding opportunities
★ Exclusive, up-close animal encounters
★ Feed kangaroos and meet dingoes
★ Explore behind the scenes, including the Platypus House and Wildlife Hospital
★ Learn the basics of wild animal rescue
★ Build an animal rescue car kit to take home
★ Special koala moment photograph to take home as a memento
★ Receive an LPKS water bottle and certificate to commemorate the experience
